Originally a dilapidated Victorian house divided into a multi-occupancy residence, this property was thoughtfully reimagined by Edwards Rensen Architects into a spacious, light-filled family home designed for both relaxation and entertaining. When I joined the project, the architectural renovation had already been completed. My role was to build upon this foundation—carefully considering the clients’ practical needs and design aspirations—by reworking the internal layout and leading the sourcing and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). The creative direction and inspiration was shaped by a fusion of influences: a deep appreciation for various art and design movements, the clients’ travels abroad, and their Indian heritage. The sourcing process evolved into a meaningful journey—an unfolding narrative that wove itself through the home. From vintage finds to bespoke commissions, we curated a collection that not only reflected the space but also resonated deeply with the people who live there. We collaborated with a diverse range of emerging and established artists, craftspeople, and makers across the globe. The result is a rich tapestry of textures, stories, and artistry—each element adding layers of depth, character, and personality to this unique family home.Featured in Living Etc Magazine, June 2025
